To catalyze innovation, drive co-development of frontier technologies, and accelerate India’s journey as a DeepTech powerhouse, the Global Capability Centres (GCC) Innovation Summit 2025 will take place on September 13–14 at IIT Kanpur. The Summit is envisioned as a strategic platform for collaboration among academia, industry, investors, and Global Capability Centres.
As GCCs evolve from cost-efficient delivery hubs to innovation-driven global centers, the Summit will provide a curated environment for policy dialogues with government and industry leaders to shape India’s DeepTech future, high-impact Panels & Discussions on frontier technologies, ESG goals, and R&D models.

This initiative aligns with Viksit Bharat 2047 and Atmanirbhar Bharat, emphasizing technological self-reliance, innovation-led entrepreneurship, and the development of India’s intellectual capital. According to a statement of IIT-K here on Tuesday, the 2-day-long event will feature high-impact sessions including policy discussions, industry-specific panels on frontier technologies, ESG implementation, and R&D models, alongside interactive demos, emerging tech showcases, and academic-industry expositions. Curated networking lounges and pitch competitions will further create meaningful engagement opportunities between GCCs, startups, and investors. Dedicated spaces like the Sustainability Innovation Pavilion and AI & Quantum Research Showcase will spotlight cutting-edge solutions.
The Summit will host a distinguished lineup of speakers from leading Global Capability Centers, technology firms, academia, and public institutions.
